Acute Care Surgery (ACS) General Surgeon

The NYU Langone Health Department of Surgery is seeking faculty to join a busy Acute Care Surgery practice at the main campus (Tisch/Kimmel) of this premier tertiary academic medical center located on the east side of Manhattan in the heart of New York City. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Surgery and have strong minimally invasive skills. Additional fellowship training in surgical critical care is preferred but not required. All experience levels are welcome including new graduates.

This position will expand our Emergency General Surgery program, which currently admits over 1600 patients per year and performs over 1300 operative cases per year. Daytime and night/weekend call coverage is included.ICU coverage is available. No expectation of elective surgical practice. No trauma service.

Recent Graduates considered.

Current NYS Medical License.

Current Board Certification or Board Eligibility(American Board of Surgery) in General Surgery.

Strong Minimally Invasive Surgery skillset is ideal.
