Parts Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Parts Associate to join our team, providing essential support to our generator technicians and ensuring smooth communication with customers and suppliers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organization committed to quality service and professional development.

Compensation: Hourly range up to $30/hour - This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.

Key Responsibilities:

- Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments or personnel

- Assist generator technicians with parts orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing

- Maintain organized records of parts inventory and orders

- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, delivery schedules, and vendor information

- Review and interpret quoted documents to determine required parts and specifications

- Place orders for parts with suppliers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications

- Communicate effectively with suppliers to track order status and resolve any issues

- Support the team in locating and retrieving parts as needed for service and repair jobs

- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of delivered items against purchase orders

- Properly store and organize inventory in designated warehouse areas

- Pack customer orders securely and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and quality

- Label and document shipments accurately for tracking and inventory management

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in parts department, customer service, service department.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing

- Basic knowledge of generator parts and technical terminology is a plus

- Proficiency with computer systems and inventory management software
