DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will serve as the primary communication link between team members and the unit supervisor and manager. Your responsibilities will include managing workflow, assigning tasks as necessary, and overseeing the training of all employees under the unit supervisor's guidance. Additionally, you will handle the processing of Ignition Interlock Limited License (IILL) petitions, as well as manage cases for customers facing suspension, revocation, disqualification, or cancellation of their driving privileges, all while ensuring compliance with the requirements set forth by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (Title 75).
You will be tasked with ensuring that customers receive proper notifications regarding the return of products and correspondence, in accordance with the regulations of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (Title 75). This role requires you to exercise independent judgment to assess eligibility for an IILL by reviewing both the petition and the customer's driving record. If a customer is deemed eligible, you will proceed with processing their petition; conversely, if they are ineligible, you will be responsible for denying the petition. Furthermore, you will perform data entry for IILL petitions and other restoration-related work received by the unit, updating Pennsylvania driver records by processing various forms, statements, and documents submitted by customers whose driving privileges have been suspended, revoked, canceled, or disqualified.
Maintaining an accurate log of all incoming work is essential, as you will need to ensure that mail work is logged into the unit and distributed to staff in the appropriate WID sequence for processing. All other types of work will be allocated based on established protocols, ensuring that the workflow remains efficient and organized.

- Full-time employment, 75hours bi-weekly
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
