Our growing Hospitality Software Consulting organization is expanding its North America Consulting practice and seeking Consultants interested in electing to transition their careers into Hospitality Software with a vision to use their extensive hotel knowledge to enhance hotel management tools for customers.

The role involves implementing, installing, configuring, and providing ongoing support for customer solutions that utilize Hospitality software and related platforms. This role also requires extensive (75%) travel to promote a strong team environment to ensure successful software implementation. This is a client-facing role, representing Infors commitment to product support while collaborating with professional services and support personnel to ensure quality product and service delivery.

The ideal candidate should have previous hotel and/or casino hotel operations experience, or group sales/event management within Hospitality, capable of configuring and implementing primarily our property management system.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

  • Manage all aspects of on-site or remote training and installation of Infor Hospitality software applications.
  • Conduct standardized training courses using Infor training documentation.
  • Provide on-site or remote transitional support of software installation go-live.
  • Provide feedback to customer and Infor on training participants' progress.
  • Provide timely communication of project status to customer and Infor.
  • Prepare and complete all project related paperwork as defined by Infor.
  • Adhere to project schedule including flights, training, meetings, conference calls, etc. and adhere to our company's Principle-Based Management guidelines.
  • Assist in creating and updating installation and training documentation.
  • Maintain superior product knowledge and complete product competency certification.

Required Skills:

  • Communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform independently on customer and non-customer projects.
  • Previous experience in hotel operations and preferably in management, and/or group sales/event management within Hospitality. Ideally, have exposure to housekeeping, accounting, and/or revenue management.
  • Working knowledge of PC operations, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, and Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship, and willing to submit background check by the Department of Homeland Security to work on government projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software application training experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Windows OS, and Microsoft SQL are highly desirable.
