| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience in custodial services, facilities operations, or building services.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred due to departmental needs.
- Experience designing adult learning content and hands-on training programs.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, chemical safety, and custodial equipment.
- Experience using digital training tools, e-learning, or multimedia development.

| Position Summary |
The Training Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive training programs that ensure Building Services employees are fully equipped to perform their duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with
UGA standards. This position supports new hire onboarding, ongoing skills development, safety compliance, custodial best practices, standardized operating procedures (SOPs), and professional development initiatives across all Building Services teams. |

- Ability to teach both one on one and in group settings.

- Design, deliver, and evaluate hands-on and classroom training for new hires, existing staff, and leads.
- Conduct training in custodial techniques, cleaning standards, chemicals, PPE, equipment use, building care, floor care, and customer service.
- Facilitate BSW Academy modules, in-area training, refresher sessions, and specialty programs (carpet care, 3M system, emergency response).
- Ensure all training aligns with UGA, OSHA, and environmental health standards.
