Your Job

Our Lincoln site is looking for a part time Stamping Tool and Die Maker. This person will maximize utilization of Stamping Department by maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving the stamping dies


What You Will Do

  • Maintain and troubleshoot dies with minimal supervision or direction needed
  • Troubleshoot die problems with minimal amount of production down time
  • Prioritize work load to meet the needs of production
  • Perform die changeovers as required
  • Support and implement continuous tooling improvements on all dies for increased utilization and efficiency
  • Support and implement continuous process improvements throughout the Stamping Department
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Build/Modify spare parts as needed
  • Participate in recommendations for die design improvements
  • Participate in problem solving teams

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years experience with high speed tooling
  • Proficient at all aspects of precision machining and form grinding
  • Proficiency in reading a strip and die as well as troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work on any of the stamping dies
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with employees throughout the organization
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Technical Degree in Machine Tool or equivalent field
