Group Clinical Recruiter Opportunity -

The Group Recruiter is a key member of Universal Health Services (UHS) Human Resources and Recruitment team. This is a mostly remote position supporting multiple inpatient behavioral health hospitals in Southern California (Facilities surrounding Los Angeles). Some travel to facilities may be required.

The Group Recruiter provides professional talent acquisition services for assigned clinical and non-clinical positions across several UHS facilities within a specified market. A primary focus of this position will be nurse recruitment for various shifts. Can perform full life cycle recruiting and maintain positive relationships with HR departments, hiring managers, candidates, and new hires. Develop recruitment techniques, strategies and action plans to efficiently support recruitment workload. Partner with the HR Directors and senior operators at each facility regarding recruitment initiatives, including hosting and attending career events and professional association networking.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies, nurture collaborative relationships with various feeder sources, and engage with desired talent.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Provides full-cycle recruitment efforts: sourcing, phone screenings and scheduling interviews, candidate and hiring manager logistics, initiates and monitors salary recommendation, background and drug screens and onboarding
  • Develops recruitment strategies and action plans to efficiently close open positions. Sources candidates via networking and cold calling, specialty internet job boards, advertisements, referrals, recruitment list/directories, etc.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with Department Manager and Human Resources to understand their business and staffing needs and become a true talent partner to the organization
  • Use networking opportunities to identify quality active and passive candidates
  • Identifies and manages relationships with targeted university programs. Represents assigned facilities at job fairs, interview days, information sessions and other related events
  • Keep abreast of current and local recruiting trends, new tools and practices to best meet hiring goals
  • Personally respond to direct requests or questions from customers in a timely manner. Listen carefully to customers, asking clarifying questions to ensure their specific need or request is addressed
  • Assists with Recruitment projects and metric reporting
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience required. Clinical healthcare recruitment experience required. Strongly prefer 1-2 years of high-volume RN, LPN and Social Worker recruitment experience.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting entry-level, professional, and clinical candidates.
  • Ability to be creative with sourcing candidates and closing quality candidates.
  • Must have experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems. ICIMS experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent skills with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with high volume recruiting and the ability to handle/juggle multiple tasks.
  • Must have superb interpersonal skills, customer service acumen and ability to work on a team; strong computer and organizations skills, outgoing personality, creativity, tenacity and proven time management skills.
