About the Role The Associate Recruiting Business Partner is responsible for assisting in full-cycle recruiting efforts for MRA member companies. This role focuses on sourcing, interviewing, screening, and referring qualified candidates while maintaining strong communication and partnership with member organizations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong relationship-building skills, and is driven by results. This is a remote, on-demand position requiring strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple recruiting projects simultaneously. Essential Functions:
- Review resumes and applicant profiles to assess alignment with member needs
- Conduct phone and virtual interviews to evaluate work history, education, skills, salary expectations, and job fit
- Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, social media platforms, and other recruiting tools
- Translate job descriptions into compelling job postings and develop screening tools, including behavioral-based interview questions and candidate selection matrices
- Research market compensation data and provide recommendations to hiring managers
- Partner with member companies to define recruitment scope, job specifications, qualifications, company culture, and hiring priorities
- Prepare and maintain weekly status reports, recruiting metrics, and written updates using dashboards or tracking systems
- Maintain and grow candidate pipelines, including active and passive candidates through professional networks, colleges, universities, and community organizations
- Stay current on best practices in recruiting, employment law, EEOC, and affirmative action compliance
- Provide flexibility and support to the recruiting team and other MRA departments as needed
RequiredQualifications
- 1-3 years of related HR or recruiting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing techniques
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and HRIS platforms
- Proficiency using LinkedIn Recruiter, social media recruiting, Boolean search techniques, and multiple recruiting websites
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, to accommodate candidate or member needs
PreferredQualifications
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree
- Human Resources or recruiting-related certifications such as LinkedIn Recruiter, CSSR, PHR/SPHR
