As a Security Officer - Plant Entry Control in Crystal Springs, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location where you will manage access control, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and document entries and exits. You will help maintain a visible presence, conduct routine rounds as assigned, and communicate concerns to site leadership using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the industrial location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and sign-out processes, and directing guests to designated areas.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing vehicle and pedestrian traffic at entrances and/or gates, following posted requirements for deliveries, contractors, and scheduled appointments.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, including visitor entries, badge exceptions, delivery documentation, and unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control violations, and requests for assistance.
• Operate and monitor access control systems, cameras, and related equipment, reporting malfunctions and/or irregularities per site procedure.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production areas, warehouses, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Communicate clearly with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership, following the chain of command and site protocols.
• Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, and severe weather actions by providing directions and information as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Security Experience - 6+ Months is required.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Lift Up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
