As a Security Officer - Unarmed Perimeter Rounds in Prince George, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a food and beverage production location, where you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay visibly present to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will be a key point of contact for employees and visitors, delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, guests, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for access, and direct visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, unsecured doors, damaged fencing, lighting outages, and/or other conditions that may impact site operations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
  • Operate security-related systems such as CCTV, alarm panels, radios, and access control devices in accordance with post orders.
  • Complete detailed, timely incident reports, patrol logs, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.
  • Assist with traffic flow and delivery driver directions at designated checkpoints, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual conditions per site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • - Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • - Be at least 21 years of age.
  • - Customer service experience is preferred.
  • - A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
