You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access points while delivering strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a utilities location by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, yards, equipment areas, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, and visitors; follow badging, key control, and/or gate procedures as required by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting alarms, trespass, suspicious activity, and/or utility service disruptions through the proper chain of communication.
• Prepare clear, detailed documentation such as shift activity reports and incident reports; communicate relevant updates to site contacts and oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
