DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Child Support Enforcement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall effectiveness of the Child Support Enforcement Program. This multifaceted position requires you to serve as a liaison between agencies and departments, including the Domestic Relations Division, county courts, county assistance offices, and federal and state agencies. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and evaluating the program, providing technical assistance and training, maintaining data integrity, and representing the Commonwealth's interests during appeals and hearings. You will also conduct outreach initiatives with outside agencies and work with customers to resolve child support issues. Overall, your role is key in ensuring that child support is properly enforced and families receive the support they need.

- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Travel: You must be willing to travel to the following counties: Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery.
- Home Headquartered: This position is home headquartered. In order to be home headquartered, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to be home headquartered, you have the option to report to the headquarters office in one of the following counties: Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montgomery.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of experience in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information; or
- A bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training including one year in a domestic relations office which included the interpretation, application and explanation of policies and regulations and analysis of information
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
Other Requirements:
- You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Philadelphia area (Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, or Montgomery County) by the start of employment.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirement:
- This position will have access to Federal Tax Information (FTI) and is subject to the provisions of IRS Publication 1075 (Pub 1075) which requires you to pass an enhanced background check prior to beginning employment. Under Pub 1075, acceptance of a conditional offer of employment will require submission to and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to: a fingerprint-based federal records check; a PA State Police clearance; a check of local law enforcement agencies where you have lived, worked, and/or attended school within the last five (5) years; and a citizenship/residency verification.
