Salesforce is seeking an editorial operations and audience growth manager to join our dynamic Newsroom team. This role is an individual contributor who is a strategic and operational leader focused on maximizing the reach and performance of the Salesforce Newsroom. You will serve as the "Growth Engine" lead, evolving our editorial processes and leveraging AI/agents to transform the Newsroom into a high-performing, measurable growth channel for the company.

You will own the end-to-end editorial lifecycle (master calendar, production trackers, workflows), drive the technical performance of the platform and accompanying channels (WordPress roadmap, newsletter optimization), and own agency RFP/intake for new projects. Ultimately, you are a key player in unifying Salesforce's editorial strategy, ensuring that tech and process scale the impact of the entire editorial team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Lifecycle & Journey Orchestration: Oversee content lifecycle from concept through production workflows (calendaring, tracking). Post-publish, optimize visibility by connecting stories to the customer journey via site mechanics (CTAs, backlinking) and ensuring distribution to Sales and Customer Success enablement channels.

  • Platform & Growth Optimization : Drive the technical and performance roadmap for the platform and accompanying channels (WordPress, site optimization, newsletter, and, visual content support) to maximize content discovery (AEO/GEO) and conversion.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, brand, PR and other internal teams to ensure their editorial content is best positioned to achieve each team's goals on a unified content hub.

  • AI-Powered Workflow Transformation : Identify, pilot, and scale the implementation of AI and agent-based solutions (leveraging platforms such as Slack) to drive workflow efficiency and quality across the editorial process.

  • Strategic Moment Execution: Orchestrate high-stakes publishing cycles for critical corporate news, managing 24/7 operational readiness and cross-functional alignment to ensure flawless delivery during peak visibility windows.

  • Preferred Skill : Occasional copy editing and content review for alignment with our Style Guide. Candidates without this expertise are still encouraged to apply.

Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in content operations, audience growth, or marketing technology, with a proven track record of driving process and performance efficiencies.

  • Proven track record of managing content processes from ideation to publication and promotion, including calendaring, posting, and content lifecycle.

  • Technical project management experience - site roadmapping, user experience, and support of other long-term content optimization projects

  • Understanding of content strategy and its application across the content lifecycle.

  • Experience managing RFPs, agency selection, and agency management.

  • Enterprise Technology Fluency: Strong technical acumen and proven ability to navigate and leverage enterprise technology ecosystems, including AI, data/analytics, SaaS, and content platforms.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Strong collaborative spirit and ability to work across teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Copy editing and style guide alignment for content prior to publication.

  • Proficiency in content and operations tools like Wordpress, Optimizely and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across a large, matrixed organization.

  • Experience working in a global tech company with a diverse, international audience.
