We're looking for a experience Software Developer who thrives at the intersection of cloud-native architecture, modern fullstack development, and platform innovation. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys owning complex problems endtoend-from system design to production-and wants to work on products used at meaningful scale. You'll join a highly collaborative, productdriven engineering team building resilient, scalable systems that support tens of thousands of users. What You'll Do * Design, develop, and ship cloudnative, microservicesbased applications that scale horizontally and handle dynamic workloads. * Build and maintain containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring consistent deployments across environments. * Architect and implement highavailability, faulttolerant systems with strong observability and fast recovery. * Collaborate closely with product, security, and platform teams to deliver features from concept to production. * Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automated testing as part of a strong DevOps culture. * Champion APIfirst design, creating clean, welldocumented REST and GraphQL APIs. * Leverage AIassisted development tools to improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and enhance observability. * Apply agile development practices, iterating quickly while maintaining high engineering standards. * Mentor teammates and contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisionmaking. What You'll Bring Required Experience * 6+ years of professional software development experience building and deploying production systems * (or 5+ years with equivalent handson experience in lieu of a degree). * Strong experience building cloudnative applications on AWS (or Azure/GCP). * Fullstack development experience, including: * Frontend: React (required) * Backend: One or more of Python, C#, Java, PHP, or Rust * Handson experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and Kubernetes. * Experience designing and working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases. * Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, welltested code. * Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). * Strong communication skills and comfort working on a crossfunctional team. Nice to Have * Experience with eventdriven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Exposure to realtime data processing or highvolume data synchronization. * Experience integrating AI or machine learning models into production software. * Familiarity with enterprise design patterns (12Factor Apps, service mesh, API gateways, serverless). * Any exposure to imaging systems or integrations (e.g., medical or diagnostic imaging tools). Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr.
