Responsibilities:



  • Schedules and conducts new hire orientations
  • Verifies new 1-9 documents
  • Prepares new hire folders
  • Processes, inputs and maintains all new hires, separations and changes within Ceridian for all Logistics operations.
  • Posts & closes job postings, moves candidates in the Dayforce process, creates & extends job offers and provides administrative support to Logistics Operations Team within Dayforce for CA Distribution Centers
  • Prepare and maintain various HR reports with associate data
  • Assists with associate walk-in traffic
  • Assists with associate name and SSN changes
  • Partners with management to input associate changes in Ceridian
  • Assists HR manager


Requirements:



  • 5-8 years of strong employee relations experience across multiple sites
  • Strong ability to build effective partnerships with leaders at all levels of the organization
  • Current working knowledge of leave of absence laws and practices, including FMLA, ADA, FEHA, etc.
  • Prior HR experience in distribution centers or similar environments such as manufacturing
  • A strong HR generalist foundation, including talent management, performance management, fostering a positive workplace culture, and serving as a subject matter expert on policies and procedures
  • Former experience with conducting new hire evaluations
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must be professional at all times
  • Prior experience with Dayforce a plus
