What Puts You on Our Shortlist for CNC Lathe Machinist

• 3-5 years minimum experience.
• Must be proficient in setting up CNC lathes by installing and touching off tools, attachments, collets, and stops.
• Loading and editing programs.
• Understanding G Code programs.
• Use of Gibbs Cam is preferred.
• Proficient in using FANUC controls.
• Must be familiar with various types of measuring tools and equipment.
• Knowledge and understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
• Must work well with other coworkers and be a team player.
• Proficient in creating set-up sheets and inspection documents.
• Experience with super alloys and exotic materials.
• Practices safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

• Run CNC mills or lathes to build high-precision parts.
• Read blueprints, set up tools, and dial in the perfect program.
• Measure, inspect, and tweak as needed to hit exact specs.
• Keep the area organized and follow all safety procedures
