Position Title: Utility Associate
Wage: $16.75/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3pm-11pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Utility Associate for a company in Milwaukee, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Utility Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Inspect packages and products while packing boxes - Assist machines with running through breaks - Utilize downtime to clean the machine area, clean other areas within converting, or assist other lines - Dump carts, garbage cans, and/or gaylords in proper waste location on a daily basis - Reduce waste whenever possible - Keep production area clean by sweeping and cleaning throughout the shift Utility Associate Requirements: - Ability to multitask - Prior lift truck experience preferred - Good written and verbal skills - Basic interpersonal and teamwork skills - Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment - Flexibility in work assignments - Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work with others - Experience working as a utility associate in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment - Experience working in printing, paper production or paper converting is preferred, but not required - Position requires constant walking or standing - Able to lift and carry of up to 50 pounds - Must have sufficient hand strength to carry-out job responsibilities QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
