The Inventory Analyst will play a critical role in supporting inventory planning and operational performance through data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This position focuses on turning complex inventory and field data into meaningful insights that drive better decision-making and improved business outcomes. The Analyst will leverage historical data and trends to forecast inventory needs, monitor changes in demand, and support critical reporting on shortages and backorders. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly data-driven, and committed to improving operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.

What will you be doing?

  • Perform inventory forecasting using historical usage patterns, sales trends, and field insights to anticipate future demand and optimize stock levels

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators and transaction including inventory accuracy, shortages, and backorders

  • Analyze demand changes across regions, customer types, and business channels to support agile planning and proactive supply chain adjustments

  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to align reporting insights with broader business goals, product strategies, and planning cycles

  • Support data integrity and system improvement initiatives, including reconciliation of discrepancies, process documentation, and stakeholder feedback

What will you need to be successful

Education:

  • Associate's degree in a related Business field or equivalent experience in data analytics and or function experience.

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in a data-centric role and Supply Chain activities.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a related field, e.g. Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics.

  • Microsoft Office Suite Applications and Analysis Skills.

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Other:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on forecasting and operational reporting

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau

  • Familiarity with ERP and inventory systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

  • Ability to manage large data sets and translate findings into actionable business insights

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently
