Description

Provide supervision and leadership to the accounting department that ensures timely and accurate preparation of the financial statements and funding compliance. This includes oversight of the daily financial duties including Accounts Receivable, program billing, grants accounting, banking and other general ledger activity through supervision of the staff supporting these functions. Plan, organize and coordinate the year-end process with external auditors, including programmatic and site audits.

Pay for this role can range from $109,315-$121,460.

Job requirements:



  • Four year BA or BS degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 7+ years progressive accounting experience including 3 years supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP is required; CPA preferred.
  • Strong technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
  • Must possess strong leadership and Communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing) to include the ability to give work direction, lead and promote teamwork throughout the organization.
  • Analytical, investigative, and organizational skills.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented to complete work correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, firmness, the ability to provide constructive criticism, and to teach others are essential.
