Job Summary

The Sr. Strategic Partner Investments Events Specialist will lead and oversee programs, processes, and/or tools that support CDW's investment strategies aligned to Co-Op Marketing, customer and coworker facing events. This role is also responsible for coaching and developing the team to ensure internal and external stakeholders have an extraordinary experience when working with CDW on investment plans and strategic initiatives. The Sr. Strategic Partner Investments Events Specialist takes a broad approach to solve complex business issues and provide recommendations to key stakeholders. This role will work across departments (Marketing, PPM, Sales) to manage designated projects and/or programs and will be responsible for meeting agreed upon deadlines, leveraging data to make business decisions, and for driving awareness of the assigned initiatives. This Sr. Strategic Partner Investments Events Specialist will support high level projects with Partner Investment Specialists for prospective investment opportunities. Additionally, the role work directly with CDW's Partners, PPM, Marketing, Sales and Finance teams.

What you will do:

  • Oversee team that will support all customer and coworker events that are requested incrementally throughout each quarter. This results in $6-8M in profitable revenue annually.
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improved alignment or productivity across the Partner Investment, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Category/Brand teams. Cross-departmental collaboration with internal stakeholders to bring awareness of strategic initiatives and sponsorships to partners for larger meaningful investments.
  • Coach and develop team to expertly position CDW investment opportunities to both internal and external customers. Heavy focus on new and emerging partners to CDW.
  • Drive awareness and understanding of priorities and top initiatives across stakeholders.
  • Proficiently position CDW investment opportunities to both internal and external customers.
  • Develop trusted relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
  • Successfully work through challenges with internal and external stakeholders by listening, problem solving, and making recommendations for a mutually agreed upon outcome.
  • Provide feedback and communicate requirements that support improvements and build strong relationships with third party vendors. Meet or exceed financial results specific to the roles function and area of responsibility.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor's degree + 3 years work experience in sales, marketing, finance product and partner management, OR
  • 7 years of work experience in sales, marketing, finance, or product and partner management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact and present to all levels of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to be persuasive.
  • Proven track record of driving results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Proven ability to multitask effectively and see projects through from inception to completion.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience in the technology industry.

Pay range: $91,000 - $126,200 depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan
