Description and Requirements

Lenovo's OEM business, part of the Intelligent Devices Group (IDG), enables customers to integrate Lenovo compute, hardware, and solutions into their own purposebuilt products across industries such as retail, industrial, healthcare, and IoT. By combining Lenovo's global scale, supply chain strength, and broad PC/Edge portfolio, the OEM organization delivers customized configurations, lifecycle stability, and endtoend enablement to help partners bring reliable solutions to market. We are hiring a Product Operation Manager to work crossfunctionally with product, sales, supply chain, finance, and operations teams to manage lifecycle changes, drive forecasting accuracy, support customer build plans, and resolve daytoday operational challenges.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage OEM demand forecasting at the SKU, configuration, or family level by consolidating inputs from Sales, historical trends, and pipeline data into timely forecasts (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
  • Prepare OEM data, scenarios, and recommendations for S&OP/IBP or similar demand-supply forums.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain to translate OEM customer build plans into executable production and fulfillment strategies.
  • Coordinate resolution of operational issues-including shortages, expedites, configuration or orderability challenges-by working across Sales, Supply Chain, product, and IT/operations teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years in product operations, demand planning, sales operations, or supply chain roles in hardware or OEM/ODM environments.
  • Proficiency in Excel and planning/analytics tools; ability to work with large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ERP/ planning systems (e.g., SAP or similar) and standard PC/OEM metrics such as forecast accuracy, DOS (days of supply), E&O, fill rate.
  • Strong communication skills to explain forecast and inventory positions to Sales and management, and to influence corrective actions.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple OEM products, and timelines simultaneously.
This position will be based in our North America Headquarters in Raleigh, NC. Our office has transitioned to a hybrid work environment supporting 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Candidates that are already local to Raleigh, NC are preferred.
