Senior Disposition Manager - Voice Systems
Location: Bethesda, MD

About the Role:

Peraton is seeking a motivated and technically savvy Senior Disposition Manager to join our Voice Systems team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the transition and disposition of legacy systems, ensuring smooth, efficient, and secure removal of equipment while coordinating with multiple stakeholders. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where technical expertise meets project leadership, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do:

    Lead legacy system and equipment disposition projects, developing and executing site-specific removal schedules that align with system transition plans.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between customer stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams, providing guidance and ensuring all parties are aligned.

  • Issue removal instructions, maintain detailed records of equipment removal, and track disposition activities including recycling and reuse certifications.

  • Provide regular status updates and final confirmation reports on completed disposition activities.

  • Coordinate and support on-site disposition teams, traveling to locations as needed to deinstall and manage legacy systems/equipment safely and efficiently.

Who You Are:

  • A proactive, detail-oriented manager with a technical mindset.

  • Skilled at coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders while keeping projects on track.

  • Comfortable with travel and hands-on involvement in site operations.

  • Experienced in equipment lifecycle management, system decommissioning, or technical project coordination (preferred).

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance

  • 12+ years leading complex technical programs or projects, including experience with:

    • Project closure, disposition management, and client acceptance

    • Document archiving, records management, and post-project evaluation

    • Project tracking, reporting, and compliance with contractual requirements

    • Stakeholder communication, cross-functional collaboration, and issue resolution

    • Process improvement and application of project management methodologies and tools

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management, or a related field or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred:

  • PMP certification

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
