Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Ownership * Own and contribute to the development and execution of the HR IT functional strategy related to Time, Absence, Benefits, and employee data management. * Establish operational plans, priorities, and roadmaps for owned systems and capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes. * Act as an expert advisor to leadership and functional stakeholders, clearly communicating risks, tradeoffs, and the enterprise impact of system and process decisions. System & Process Excellence * Maintain full accountability for the configuration, customization, performance, and reliability of owned HR applications and related modules. * Anticipate and resolve complex, nonstandard problems with broad organizational impact, ensuring continuity of critical business operations. * Lead the planning, execution, and validation of system upgrades, optimizations, and enhancements, including KPI definition and outcome tracking. * Proactively monitor external trends, vendor roadmaps, and regulatory developments to drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and risk mitigation. Data, Integration & Risk Management * Own the integrity, security, and quality of employee time, absence, and benefits data across the system landscape. * Accountable for the design, performance, and stability of system integrations; directly resolve issues or lead crossfunctional teams to resolution. * Conduct diagnostic, audit, and preventative risk analyses, ensuring compliance with data security standards and KION IT policies. * Drive resolution of data issues across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT, ensuring rootcause remediation and longterm prevention. Program, Project & Partner Leadership * Lead projects and initiatives with broad visibility, ensuring delivery against milestones, scope, quality, and business outcomes. * Partner with functional owners to translate business needs into scalable system solutions; oversee prioritization, design, testing, deployment, and adoption. * Direct and hold thirdparty development and implementation partners accountable for deliverables, quality, timelines, and adherence to KION design principles and contractual obligations. People & Capability Development * Provide expert guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing across teams to elevate organizational capability and resilience. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline required. * 8-10+ years of progressive experience with demonstrated mastery in UKG Workforce Management, time and activity tracking, accrual management, UKG Pro (UltiPro), Workday, Passport, and ERP integrations. * UKG WFM IT Administration certifications required. * Proven expertise in data models, data governance, and system integration architecture. * Strong background in project delivery, with working knowledge of project management and process improvement methodologies. * Experience with data security, compliance, and confidential information in missioncritical environments. * Demonstrated ability to operate independently with a high degree of accountability, urgency, and attention to detail. * Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to set expectations, influence decisions, and escalate risks appropriately. #LI-AP1
