What We Do The Post Closing Specialist provides administrative support associated with preparing loan packages for transfer to the purchasing financial institution. Post close packages include auditing documents, depositing funds, recording transactions and reconciling files. Provides timely delivery of closing and collateral documents.

Job Description

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Perform detailed post closing review of more complex closed loan packages to determine completeness, accuracy and compliance with guidelines

  • Perform reconciliations, recordings and auditing of closing packages

  • Track all closed loan files; update company operating system

  • Scan and index closing documents within loan operating system

  • Review, log and mail final trailing documents

  • Answer phones, greet customers, place calls and request information needed for escrow closings

  • May act as a team resource and subject matter expert

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of related work experience

  • Title insurance background

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

  • Strong customer service orientation

  • Detail orientation

  • Excellent verbal communication

  • Problem solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong knowledge of company operating systems

  • Ability to understand and adhere to state and federal mortgage lending regulations

  • Strong knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of a particular function/department/field
