JOB TITLE: Admin Supervisor District Operations REQUISITION: DIS00X6 DEPARTMENT: Emergency Response Delivery Support - F&M Service Center, Northland Service Center, Blue Springs Service Center, Dodson Service Center, Lee's Summit Service Center, Belton Service Center, Southland Service Center, Johnson County Service Center LOCATION: Kansas City, MO Blue Springs, MO Lee's Summit, MO Belton, MO Stilwell, KS Lenexa, KS PAY RANGE: $75,300 - $100,400 Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities: This position reports to the Director Regional Operations. The primary responsibilities of this role are to supervise, lead and develop line clerks and administrative support personnel within the region. This role may directly supervisor five or more individuals at one time. Additional areas of responsibility for this role are outlined below. * Plan, coordinate and lead regional clerical staff to meet business needs * Evaluate work and provide on the job training and feedback to staff, interpret departmental policies and explains policies to staff and plant personnel, as the need arises. * Manage the storm database and report on call out statistics * Coordinate regional meetings as needed * Additional responsibilities as necessary
Education and Experience Requirements: An Associate's Degree in a Business, Accounting, Operations Management or a related field is required; a Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred. The selected candidate must have at least five years of experience in an office or operations related environment with prior supervisory experience. Must be proficient in MS Office applications and demonstrated leadership skills are important to be successful in this role. * Must have demonstrated supervisory experience using interpersonal relations and strong communication skills to handle conflict and demonstrate leadership, team building, and coaching/mentoring abilities. * Must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times and possess a progressive, dynamic attitude toward solving problems and working with team members. * Must be able to apply tact, diplomacy, reason and logic. * Project management and leadership skills including the ability to work as a team member to deliver on commitments. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: * Ability to maintain a positive self-image; respond assertively, defend company viewpoints and policy, accept constructive criticism, and demonstrate honesty and trustworthiness. * Ability to respond appropriately to others, take active interest in and willingly help others and modify behavior to build a team culture. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills and intermediate level computer skills. Must be highly organized and be able to create detailed reports. * Ability to coach, counsel, motivate, engage, hold accountable, handle conflict, and remain calm in high stress situations. * Ability to handle multiple priorities, make decisions with limited time and data, and process information in an orderly, accurate and timely manner. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding and Testing Required: Valid driver's license required. Must have a safe driving history Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions with occasional travel throughout the region or to another region.
