Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. Supply Chain Management Analyst.

In this role, the successful candidate as the Senior Analyst for the Supply Chain data warehouse oversees activities related to data integrity and enhancement of our data. The Senior Analyst may direct the movement of data across multiple systems, oversee its validation, and ensure the data is available for NYULH stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical aptitude, eagerness to identify and address gaps between reporting applications, and drive to understand the operational and technical variables impacting the organizations data. The Senior Analyst will work cross-functionally with various teams to collect business requirements and design solutions that optimize growth, strategy, and experience for our users.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build ETL scripts or packages to move and process data for Supply Chain reporting needs.
  • Conduct data profiling to understand data relationships and recommend logic.
  • Conduct data modeling and maintain data models.
  • Identify, design, and implement additional opportunities to automate data flow.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain data super-users to solicit and ensure report business requirements are met and disseminated in a reasonable frequency.
  • Design and implement report-ready SQL tables and views that efficiently and effectively fulfill business requirements.
  • Implement data management best practices to ensure the integrity of the data, quality of data processes, and evolve governance processes within allocated areas of ownership.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound data flow, including manual and automated feeds.
  • Document, execute, maintain and recommend operating methods to improve processing, distribution, and data flow.
  • Lead documentation efforts, including data dictionaries and mapping, and ensure they are continuously maintained.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, as well as external companies, and appropriately map data to Supply Chain Data Warehouse.
  • Participate in peer review activities within the team as needed.
  • Partner with data owners to monitor and resolve data issues at the root-cause.
  • Lead, develop, and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree, with 3-5 years of analytics experience in health care, supply chain with medical supply categorization, or related field.
Strong experience and expertise in managing data, writing SQL statements, and using Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Has a high level of accountability, inquisitive in nature, self-starter, detail-oriented and able to work both independently and within a team on multiple projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experienced in creating documentation, optimizing data flow, and establishing structure within a reporting landscape comprised of diverse, disparate data sources.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SQL and Tableau (Desktop/Prep), Group Purchasing Organizations, Oracle PeopleSoft, and any other supply chain management technologies are preferred.
Work done within a healthcare supply chain specifically is also preferred.
Able to demonstrate a strong history of influencing cross-functional teams and with external partners.
Project management experience preferred, as lead or a member.
Experience working in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $84,577.92 - $111,300.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
