Overview
The Systems Accounting Senior Manager owns and optimizes Hexagon's consolidation and reporting ecosystem for the Autonomous Solutions Business Area, with a primary focus on OneStream. The role partners across the Business Area and with Hexagon Group Finance, Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, and Group IT to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant consolidated reporting under IFRS. The ideal candidate brings hands-on OneStream experience, deep knowledge of multi-entity consolidations, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and robust controls. This is a high-impact role with direct accountability for monthly close execution, master data governance, process automation, and continuous improvement across a multinational environment. The Location: Remote within the United States (CST, MST, or PST time zones strongly preferred).
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Own the administration, configuration, and maintenance of OneStream for the Autonomous Solutions Business Area actuals and reporting. Coordinate with Hexagon Group Finance for shared dimensions, workflows, and governance.
- Manage end-to-end consolidation processes under IFRS, including currency translation, intercompany eliminations, minority interests, and journal adjustments for Autonomous Solutions and cross-business interactions across Hexagon.
- Coordinate and execute the month-end close consolidation calendar for Autonomous Solutions. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of Business Area results to Hexagon Group reporting, including management reporting and variance analyses.
- Design, build, test, and document OneStream artifacts, including workflows, forms, transformation rules, mappings, dimensions, dashboards, and reports, in alignment with Hexagon Group standards.
- Define and govern finance master data for Autonomous Solutions, including the chart of accounts, entity structures, and custom dimensions. Maintain mapping logic while ensuring compliance with Group governance processes.
- Lead data integrations from source ERPs into OneStream, including validation, reconciliation, and completeness checks. Collaborate with Business Area IT and Hexagon Group IT on integration quality and sustainability.
- Drive continuous improvement and standardization in close, consolidation, and reporting processes across Autonomous Solutions while ensuring consistency with Group Finance policies.
- Maintain internal controls and documentation in alignment with SOX or equivalent frameworks, including access controls, change management, and system governance.
- Support complex accounting scenarios, including acquisitions, divestitures, legal-entity reorganizations, and foreign operations, within the Business Area. Apply IFRS and consolidation impacts appropriately within OneStream.
- Collaborate with regional finance teams across Autonomous Solutions to ensure data quality, process adherence, and effective training.
- Support internal and external audits, partnering with Hexagon Group auditors and Business Area controllers to provide system evidence and process documentation.
- Manage small enhancements and projects for the Business Area footprint, including testing, cutover, and hypercare. Align with Hexagon Group governance as needed.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues affecting the Business Area user base. Identify recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Maintain current IFRS knowledge and anticipate impacts on consolidation and reporting at both the Business Area and Group levels.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is a plus.
- 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial consolidation in a multinational, multi-entity environment.
- Strong practical OneStream experience as a power user or administrator, including report building, workflows, mappings, and business rules.
- Solid IFRS knowledge, including consolidation mechanics, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, and non-controlling interests.
- Experience supporting or leading a group or business area's month-end close process with tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel capabilities with strong reconciliation and data validation skills.
- Ability to document processes, master data, and system controls for audit readiness.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across finance and IT, including collaboration with Hexagon Group functions.
- Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor with high ownership and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have:
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Experience with OneStream Marketplace solutions or advanced modules such as Task Manager, Data Explorer, or Dashboarding.
- Experience with ERPs commonly used across Hexagon entities, including SAP or Infor Syteline
- Exposure to planning and forecasting processes integrated within OneStream.
- Understanding of US GAAP differences relative to IFRS, and experience supporting dual reporting where applicable.
- Basic SQL or scripting for troubleshooting data issues.

This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.
