Job Description




As a Security Officer - Clinical Rounds in Milton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and helpful customer service, while documenting observations using a computer and/or tablet. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned areas, including corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management practices, including observing for unusual activity and reporting concerns according to post orders.
  • Complete security-related reports, shift logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations and/or hazards to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital: Vaccines is required.
  • Hospital: Restrain Individuals is required.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
