Job Description




As a Security Officer - Dispatch Center, Security Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at an aero and defense location as a Dispatch Officer, supporting mission-focused operations through fast, accurate communication. You will monitor security-related systems, receive and triage alarms and calls for service, coordinate officer response, document activity, and help maintain clear access control procedures. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Serve as the dispatch point for security-related communications by answering incoming calls, monitoring radio traffic, and coordinating officer response to alarms, service requests, and incidents.
  • Monitor and acknowledge security-related systems such as CCTV, intrusion alarms, and access control panels, and relay observed issues to on-site personnel and/or responding officers in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Create timely, detailed incident reports and dispatch logs, including documenting notifications, response actions, and follow-up communications per site policy.
  • Coordinate and document regular and random patrol activity by field officers around buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Maintain an active DoD Top Secret Clearance.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
