As a Security Officer - Patrol FT in Gresham, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol warehouses, yards, and access points, completing routine rounds and documenting security-related observations. You will stay visible to help reduce incidents, assist associates and visitors with directions and questions, and communicate clearly with site leaders. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points including guard shacks and/or vehicle gates by verifying identification, documenting visitor and driver activity, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions, and use radios, phones, and/or computer systems to communicate updates to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
