As a Security Officer Medical Center Rover Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare hospital setting, you will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with calm customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you may use a vehicle to cover assigned areas and respond to needs across the location. At Allied Universal, you will act with integrity and deliver through teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization as required, and directing individuals to appropriate destinations.
• Communicate clearly with healthcare staff and/or local responders during medical and facility-related events, assisting with crowd control and route guidance as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
