Job Description




As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Southaven, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. You will conduct routine patrols throughout buildings and grounds, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid drivers license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Bring teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions per site requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the healthcare location, including corridors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter doors, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including directing individuals to appropriate departments and reporting access issues to site leadership.
  • Support security-related operations by completing routine reports, communicating via radio and/or phone, and escalating maintenance or facility concerns to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
