As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support staff and visitors with strong customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, donors, staff, and/or visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site leadership and/or public emergency services as required by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, common areas, and other assigned locations for unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or potential hazards, and report findings per site protocol.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in required reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate pertinent information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21+ years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
