You will complete routine mobile and foot patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support tenants and visitors with responsive customer service, and document observations with clear communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and suspicious activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, coordinating with property staff and/or local authorities when needed, and completing required notifications.
  • Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate clearly during shift transitions to support consistent site operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
