Logistics & Equipment Coordinator (LEC) OGI Center of Excellence (OCE)

The Logistics & Equipment Coordinator (LEC) plays a critical role within the OGI Center of Excellence (OCE). This position is responsible for managing project scheduling, overseeing equipment and calibration gas inventories, coordinating purchasing and maintenance activities, and supporting emerging technology initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, deep equipment knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Scheduling



  • Maintain and manage the project schedule for OGI Service Lines.
  • Assign resources based on skill set, experience, geographic location, and client relationships.
  • Support Operations by ensuring efficient and accurate scheduling.


CAPEX Equipment Management



  • Coordinate with OCED to standardize purchasing strategies, equipment types, inventory practices, calibrations, storage/transport, maintenance, repair, labeling, and documentation.
  • Provide on-site CAPEX and calibration gas inventory support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized inventory records using Alliance Asset tools (e.g., Skybridge).
  • Communicate with manufacturers and suppliers to identify optimal bulk purchasing opportunities and preferred vendors.
  • Prepare documentation and digital tracking for equipment repairs, replacements, and inter-office loans.
  • Build or modify tools/equipment to support field operations.


Calibration Gas and Consumables



  • Support OCED in coordinating and maintaining corporate calibration gas inventory.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing manager to procure calibration gases and manage Certificates of Analysis.
  • Manage field consumable inventories, including PPE, reagents, filters, sample jars, shipping containers, and tool stock.
  • Purchase and repair tools required for equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinate equipment shipping with other offices and Operations Managers.


Emerging and Innovative Technologies



  • Support OCED in evaluating and integrating new technologies related to leak detection.
  • Keep OCE informed of advancements and ensure the organization remains competitive with stateoftheart equipment.
  • Leverage internal expertise to develop inhouse technologies where appropriate.
  • Identify when new methodologies require specialized equipment.


Education and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree or technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of OGI or logistics experience.
  • Strong understanding of OGI camera operation, maintenance, and repair.


Skills and Requirements



  • Ability to travel; valid driver's license required.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong work ethic.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work 40+ hours, including occasional nights and weekends.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities and the capacity to manage and communicate issues effectively.
  • Ability to support internal teams in resolving operational challenges.

In compliance with applicable Pay Transparency laws, Alliance Technical Group provides a range of compensation for job postings within locations that have these requirements. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000.
