General Manager \| Country Inn & Suites - Mankato, MN Lead a high-impact hotel operation. Drive revenue. Build culture. Own results. The Country Inn & Suites of Mankato is seeking a General Manager to lead a full-service property, including Legends Bar & Grill and banquet operations. This is a visible leadership role responsible for profitability, guest experience, and team performance across all departments. What You'll Own Full operational leadership: Front Desk, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and Sales Revenue growth through pricing strategy, sales execution, and market positioning Performance of Legends Bar & Grill + banquet operations (quality, cost, guest experience) Guest satisfaction, service recovery, and brand standards Budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability Hiring, coaching, and developing a high-performing team Community engagement and local business development What Success Looks Like Strong RevPAR growth and cost control Consistent guest satisfaction scores at or above brand average Engaged, stable team with strong leadership bench Clean audits, strong financial discipline, and operational consistency What You Bring 2+ years of hotel leadership or comparable operations management experience Strong understanding of hotel P&L, revenue management, and cost controls Experience leading multi-department teams in a service-driven environment Ability to drive sales, build local partnerships, and grow market presence Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits $80,000-$90,000 base (DOE) + bonus eligibility Medical, Dental, Vision, HSA/FSA Company-paid STD, LTD, Life, AD&D 401(k) with company match PTO + Paid Holidays Employee discounts Why This Role This is an opportunity to run a full-service hotel as your own business, with direct impact on financial performance, guest experience, and team culture.
