Workplace Coordinator - JLL

What this job involves:

Join our dynamic workplace operations team as a Workplace Coordinator where you'll be the central hub ensuring seamless daily operations at our client site. This role combines facilities management, customer service, and operational coordination as you support a thriving workplace environment. You'll collaborate with diverse teams including property management, vendors, and internal departments to deliver exceptional workplace experiences. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of workplace quality while developing your skills in facilities coordination within JLL's innovative real estate services environment. You'll be empowered to shape workplace operations that directly impact employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Support comprehensive workplace operations including reception, mailroom, facilities, and janitorial coordination
  • Implement workplace programming and services aligned with client needs and expectations
  • Liaise with property management, local client employees, and onsite vendors to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Collaborate with physical security, health and safety, events, food, and IT teams for integrated support
  • Maintain workplace quality standards ensuring tidiness and cleanliness throughout office spaces
  • Oversee workplace work order management system and provide internal customer support
  • Coordinate logistics for events and meetings ensuring flawless execution
  • Assist with procurement and organization of office supplies and promotional materials
  • Serve as extension of multiple client teams for special projects and initiatives
  • Manage documentation and processes related to workplace coordination activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in reception, mailroom, facilities, janitorial, or related operational roles
  • Knowledge of workplace work order management systems and internal customer support processes
  • Familiarity with procurement and organization of office supplies and materials
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders
  • Strong adaptability to handle changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with proactive approach to issue resolution
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in facilities management or workplace coordination roles
  • Experience implementing workplace programming and service delivery initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
  • Proven track record overseeing quality and cleanliness standards in large office environments
  • Experience coordinating corporate events and meeting logistics
  • Proficiency in business software programs including Mac, Google Suite, and Slack platforms
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong multitasking capabilities.

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Work Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Salary/Comp: $68,000 - $72,000

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

68.00 - 72.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
