Pay range $30.00 - $35.00 per hour DOE.

Job Description

Responsible for operating a gasoline or diesel-powered tractor to safely move loaded and empty trailers between ports, warehouses, and yard locations. This role includes performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and obtaining necessary signatures for pickups and deliveries. The position may also serve as a relief driver during peak periods and assist with delivery routes as needed, ensuring efficient and reliable transportation operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Uses tractor to move loaded or empty trailers to and from depending on location the port, warehouse, and yard.
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
• Performs pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and completes pre-trip/post-trip report; distribute as directed.
• Serves as a relief driver during peak periods or when drivers are not available.
• Other duties as they are assigned include running delivery accounts if needed.

Job Requirements

• CDL class A required
• W.I.C. (Transportation Worker ID Credential) Card, allows access to the Ports.
• CDL Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME or H-Endorsement)
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record, no SR22 insurance.
• Copies of your CDL and DMV record required prior to start.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of warehousing, forklift and pallet jack operations, and inventory processes preferred.

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift and/or move up to 170 pounds (full beer kegs).
• Operates a forklift or pallet jack to transport products all in a safe manner.

• This job will be performed at the Kapolei, Hawaii location.
