RWJBH is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide at our New Brunswick campus

This is a full time, day position, 40hours/week, some weekends and holiday availability are required

Requirements/Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent required,

-American Heart Association CPR card required,

-Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office; excellent communication and organizational skills also required

-Basic knowledge of medical terminology a plus

-Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assisting physical therapist or occupational therapist with patient care such as: assisting with patient transfers and mobility, patient transport, maintaining treatment area by maintaining supply and linen inventory, changing sheets and pillow cases; general housekeeping, retrieving and cleaning equipment including medical equipment; assist in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages; communication with nursing or other healthcare providers; direct communication with office staff and Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy staff
