Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to theDirectorofVenues, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Working closely withfl.2 Chefto execute the smooth and flawless operation of both the Front and Heart of House

• Ensuringoptimalperformanceby beinga presence on the floor to supportandlead the team to deliverservice excellence

• Driverevenueand profit through the development andimplementation ofstrategies,practicesand promotionswhile in keeping with the overall concept

• Curate Pittsburgh's top beverage and bar program

• Effectively manage the departmental budget

• Effectively recruit and onboard new colleagues

• Train and lead the team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed

• Promote the growth and development of internal talent

• Managein partnership with the Director orSales and Marketingthe social media accounts of the restaurantin accordance withmarketing standards

• Manage onlinereputationby responding ina timelyand professional manner and handling any concerns

• Maintain the safety and sanitation ofboth front and heart of house restaurantoperation

• Collaborate with otherdepartmentsto ensure effective operation of the hotel

• Have full knowledge ofrestauranttrends and innovations

• Constantly drive innovation

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previousseniorleadership experience in an equivalent role, encompassing both Food and Beveragerequired

• Demonstrated passion for the Food and Beverage industryand knowledge of current trends

• Proven ability to driverevenues andprofit,without sacrificingcolleague and customer experiences

• Proven ability in menu design, offerings, effective marketing plans, and on-line reputation management

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal andproblem-solvingabilities

• Highly responsible and reliable

• Ability to work well under pressure in afast-pacedenvironment

• Ability to work cohesively as part of a teamand build relationships

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift

• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20lbs

• Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting

• Occasional ascending or descending ladders,stairsand ramps
