Description Position at Hearth & Home Technologies, LLC As a Mold Technician, you will produce realistic fireplace logs and refractory components by molding, dyeing, painting, and finishing materials to meet strict quality standards. Position Details Starting Pay:$16.50 per hour Location:Mt. Pleasant, IA 1^stShift Details:6:00 AM - 4:20 PM (Core Hours) Monday - Thursday OT as needed Full Time / Direct Hire HHT Benefits Staring Your 1st Day Paid Time Off: 128 hours (prorated from start date) 8 Paid Holidays Access to your pay on a daily basis Health Care: medical, dental, and vision 401k with 6% company match Additional Benefits Quarterly Profit Sharing-Eligible after 1 year of service Paid Parental Leave-Eligible after 1 year of service Tuition Reimbursement- Eligible after 6 months of service $10,000 Adoption / Surrogacy Reimbursement- Eligible after 1 year of service Mold Tech Job Duties Select proper molds and forms for log and refractory production Mix and maintain materials in forming tanks and mixers Remove formed parts from molds and trim excess material Dye, paint, and highlight logs to achieve a natural wood appearance Perform quality checks using gauges and reference samples Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain paint systems and equipment Clean machines, molds, and work areas daily Support mold setup, changeovers, and repairs Perform packaging and sub-assembly tasks as needed Maintain steady production flow and meet takt time requirements Rotate to other production areas when needed Complete safety, quality, and production documentation Perform preventive maintenance on equipment Participate in continuous improvement activities In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, Health Savings Account, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and Holidays, and Retirement Benefits).
