Job Title:Facilities MaintenanceTechnician

Hourly Range:$24.00 - $32.00

Work Hours:9:00 AM -5:30 PM

JobDescription:

To support the upkeep and functionality of facility infrastructure, utilities, and cleanroom environments in compliance with pharmaceutical cGMP standards. The role ensures that all facility systemsoperateefficiently and safely to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

JobResponsibilities:



  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on facility systems including HVAC, Boiler, plumbing, lighting, compressed air, and water systems.





  • Monitor andmaintaincleanroom conditions, ensuring compliance with environmental and cleanliness standards.





  • Assistin the upkeep of utility systems such as boilers, chillers, air handling units, and purified water systems.





  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.





  • Conduct facility inspections and report any issues related to safety, cleanliness, or equipment performance.





  • Support preventive maintenance schedules andmaintainaccuraterecords of work performed.





  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and GMP requirements during all maintenance activities.





  • Take temperature, Pressure, Humidity readings of clean rooms.






  • Operate the Utilityequipment'slike boiler, air compressor, dustcollector,etc.





  • Maintaining the utility area and housekeeping of spare store.





  • Performing repair/ maintenance of rooms for Painting, repair of wall, ceiling, door, lights, plumbing and recording it in GMP document.





  • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized facility services.





  • This position requires the ability to do heavy lifting / bendingfrequently, ladder usage,heightwork.





  • Exert an amount of force continuously and/or up to 5 pounds of forcefrequentlyand/or up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force rarely byutilizinga hand truck to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.





  • Abilityto wearappropriate PPEis required.





  • Performchecklist-basedinspection and recording it as per good documentation practices,





  • Should be able tooperate/ Maneuver scissor lift, Big Joe equipment.





  • Facilitate manufacturing and packingdepartmentsin complete cleaning of rooms for light removals, duct section removals.





  • Individuals maybe requiredto wear respiratory devices that include but are not limited to: Air Purifying Respirators (APR) which include half-face and full-face negative.





  • Provide immediate feedback to the Supervisor on unsafe equipment or working conditions.





  • Maintain a safe,clean,and organized work area with all automatic equipment 100%functional.





  • Flexibility to work extended hours (weekends/Holiday), to achieve manufacturing schedule when needed.



JobQualification & Experience:



  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/FacilityMaintenancepreferred.





  • 2-5years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment.





  • Basic understanding of cleanroom operations and utility systems.





  • Familiarity with maintenance documentation and safety procedures.
