The Supply Analyst plays a critical role in supporting NYU Langone Healths supply chain by optimizing inventory management, strengthening distribution reliability, and enabling continuity of supply across multiple clinical sites. This position is responsible for analyzing internal and external data to forecast demand, set optimal inventory targets, and mitigate supply risk. In addition to core analytical and operational responsibilities, the Supply Analyst will oversee a newly established product distribution stream managed through our third party-logistics (3PL) network helping to build, launch, and optimize the associated distribution model. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to drive operational excellence and support patient care critical supply availability.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage lot-controlled items within our third party-logistics network and internal systems, ensuring accurate selection, full traceability, and adherence to requirements.

Lead item setup activitiesincluding item onboarding, routing, ordering parameters, and integration with internal systemswhile resolving setup defects and escalating issues as needed.

Proactively identify and address potential or actual product disruptions within the third party-logistics distribution model; develop mitigation strategies, substitution options, and communication plans in partnership with operational and clinical stakeholders.

Track expiration dates and surplus inventory within the third-party logistics network; coordinate product rotation, transfers, and utilization strategies to minimize waste and financial impact.

Present data, insights, and recommendations to upper management in various forums and business reviews.

Collaborate with key stakeholders both internal and external to meet goals and objectives.

Facilitate cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment and accountability on high-cost purchasing decisions and troubleshooting any issues.

Report on key performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend areas for operational improvement.

Assist in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training modules to support consistent daily execution.

Participate in special projects as assigned.

Perform other duties as needed in support of supply chain operations.

Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong analytical background with advanced experience in Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to upper management teams. Experience leading projects, problem solving, and a strong history of working with cross-functional partners. Strong sense of urgency, processes-minded and high level of accountability.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Strong analytical background with experience in Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to upper management teams.
Experience in leading projects, problem solving, and a strong history of working with cross-functional partners.
Strong sense urgency, and high level of accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with supplier/end user relations and supply chain management technologies. Able to demonstrate a strong history of influencing cross functional teams, both within supply chain, and with external partners. Experience working in fast paced environments; proven track record of adapting to evolving business needs.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70,481.60 - $83,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
