Find your calling at Mercy! This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned. Position Details: Cook - Mercy Hospital South ???? Full-Time \| 40 Hours/Week ???? Shift: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Excellent integrity Takes initiative Good moral character. Basic Math Skills Time Management Skills Great interpersonal skills Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer. Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds. Preferred Education: High school diploma or its equivalent. Why Mercy?
