Transfer Station Operator

Waste Connections is searching for an operator at our transfer station in Metropolis, Illinois.

PAY:
*$22 per hour

HOURS:
*Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Help Direct Customers to appropriate areas at the site.
*Spotting Trucks
*Operate end loader
*Pack semi
*Picking up litter/ Grounds Keeping
*Operate scale
*Performing other assigned duties

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
*Valid driver's license.
*2 years of equipment operation experience preferred.
*Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
*Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
*Reliability and punctuality is a must.
