Registered Nurse

This position is responsible for assisting students and providers with medication refills for mental health, connecting students with campus and community resources, ADHD testing coordination, Genesight testing, PrEP consults and communicable disease management, etc.This position is a 9-month (summers off) appointment.

Lafene Health Center provides students with accessible, high quality, and affordable outpatient healthcare, focusing on keeping students healthy and promoting a healthy campus community. Care is provided by board certified physicians and nurse practitioners, as well as nursing professionals. Students receive the same high quality care one would expect from their healthcare providers. You will have access to coordinated and comprehensive services targeted at building and maintaining overall well-being. We believe good health is essential for academic success.

This position is On-site.

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Kansas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• 2-3 years experience in performing health assessments, allergy injections and immunizations.
• 2-3 years experience in executing organizational policy, goals or objectives.
