Responsibilities * Provides pre-seizure investigative assistance to Special Agents in support of on-going major criminal investigations. * Performs complex case-related research by reviewing and analyzing questions at issue and reviewing the facts of the case; prepares summaries and digests of pertinent data, compiles indexes, prepares trial material, and summarizes depositions or other transcripts. * Conducts liaison functions between the investigation and the attorney designated to prosecute the case. * Reviews the status of cases to determine whether current or proposed actions are sound. * May take the lead to achieve the goal of the investigation, assuring the work meets contract and Government requirements and is delivered on time. * Creates administrative and technical procedures to accomplish the assigned tasks. * Oversee and manage access to LE databases utilized within the AFFI Program Domestic and International Investigations. Remove investigator access, as appropriate, upon separation from the AFFI Program * Performs other duties as assigned. | |
