*Description*
We're looking for a Product Content Designer to partner with one of tech's biggest companies on a team with designers, product managers, researchers and product marketers to plan and create the content for products that support video creation and editing experiences across one of their platforms. The team is building intuitive, expressive creation and editing experiences that help people craft high-quality content quickly and confidently. As a high-level Content Designer you'll set the voice and interaction patterns across the editing flow-turning complex tools (e.g., trimming, effects, captions, templates, publishing) into clear, human, and on-brand experiences. * Audit plan write edit test and improve content including user interface language product naming and education navigational nomenclature notifications and other content * Able to plan and write content for mobile interfaces including complex interaction flows onboarding experiences and push notifications as well as apply consistent standards and elevate the overall quality of our work are a systems thinker and love both high-level strategy and hands-on writing and editing for mobile experiences * Understand design thinking and user experience and thrive in a flat fast-moving organization that uses light-weight process to have a huge impact. * Design end-to-end UX writing and product language across UI copy, tooltips, education, error states, notifications, and empty states. * Create scalable content systems: taxonomy, naming conventions for tools, reusable strings, localization-ready guidance, and pattern libraries in partnership with Design Systems. * Simplify complex editing concepts (timelines, layers, audio, effects, exports) into language that feels effortless to creators at different skill levels. * Raise craft: give clear feedback, lead content reviews, and help establish team standards for tone, style, and consistency. *Skills* Content writing, Digital, User experience, Digital content *Top Skills Details* Content writing,Digital,User experience,Digital content *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Minimum qualifications 8+ years experience in content design / UX writing for consumer-facing digital products (or equivalent experience). A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product work, including complex interaction flows and systems thinking. Experience collaborating with Product Design, Research, and Engineering to ship work in iterative cycles. Proven ability to develop content frameworks, guidelines, and reusable patterns. Experience writing for global audiences, including localization considerations. Preferred qualifications Experience with creator tools, editing software, media workflows, or production-oriented interfaces. Experience influencing product direction through narratives, strategy docs, and concept exploration. Familiarity with experimentation (A/B tests), metrics, and qualitative research synthesis. Experience leading or mentoring other content designers. *HYBRID in either San Francisco, or New York. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $80.00/hr.
