Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Lead to be based out of Tampa, FL. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Lead will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and providing oversight to Maintenance Technicians

What you'll do:

• Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and providing oversight to Maintenance Technicians
• Knowledgeable in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Provide ongoing support to Maintenance Technicians and report issues as needed to department manager
• Perform preventative maintenance checks as prescribed in PM sheets weekly or as directed
• Ensure the maintenance of equipment
• Clean chilled water system filters
• Check and change oil in all gear boxes
• Grease all motor and pump bearings
• Cut and replace filter media in air filters on extruder control cabinets
• Clean water filters on cooling and vacuum tanks
• Assist Tool/Die and extrusion lines setup to minimize downtime
• Adhere to all lock out/tag out procedures
• Offer suggestions for performance evaluation ratings and oversee the duties of Maintenance Technicians
• Perform all job duties using safe work methods
• Ability to work at elevated heights
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring:

• Minimum educational requirement is high school diploma, or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Good understanding of basic math required
• Attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
• Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
• Must be able to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Must be able to operate Power Industrial Equipment
• 5 Years of Maintenance Technician experience

Within 3 months, you'll:

• Completed all required training
• Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations
• Gain an understanding of your team, maintenance and operations, and areas you support.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $35.50 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
