Provide management oversight (supervision, coordination, and leadership) for a team of electrical engineers and technicians supporting accelerator operations, experimental halls, and other lab initiatives. Responsibilities include, leading the development of new beam diagnostic instrumentation, maintaining an understanding of the Accelerator division's overall operational goals, keeping lC engineering staff abreast of latest technology, ensuring project workflows and hand-offs are completed in accordance with engineering expectations, EH&S, and assessing workloads against manpower resources and skill sets for the l&C group. This will include working with customers to develop planning, cost, and schedules to maintain reliable diagnostic equipment to support accelerator operations. Utilize engineering resources to balance incoming work requests, assist in the prioritization of tasks, help to mitigate resource conflicts, and monitor customer satisfaction of engineering services. The group leader is expected to operate with a large amount of autonomy in how they direct the group and interface with external departments (ACC and NP) inside and outside of Jefferson Lab.
